Group Online Training: The Art of Marketing Your Business (1 day course)

In this instructor-led training session, you’ll learn valuable and essential skills for marketing your business.

The course is limited to 8 people to ensure that the session is interactive and allows for real-time Q&A throughout the day.

Agenda:

  • 9-9.30am: Introduction Meet the participants and trainer followed by an overview of the course objectives and goals.

  • 9.30-11am: Marketing 101 Understanding the role of marketing in business, the 4Ps of marketing and how they apply to your business: Product (service), Price, Place and Promotion. Introduction to market research.

  • 11-11.15am Short break

  • 11.15-12.45pm Establishing Your Brand The importance of branding for small businesses. Creating a brand identity: Logo, colour scheme, and messaging. Positioning your business in the market.

  • 12.45-1.30pm Lunch break

  • 1.30-3pm Building Your Marketing Plan Creating a Marketing Plan, setting marketing goals and objectives. Identifying your target audience and value proposition. Developing a marketing strategy, budget and selecting the right marketing mix.

  • 3-3.15pm Short break

  • 3.15-4.45pm Digital Marketing Essentials Overview of digital marketing vs. traditional marketing. Introduction to online presence: Website, social media, and email marketing best practises.

  • 4.45-5pm Wrap-Up and Q&A Recap of key takeaways from the day, participant questions, closing remarks and next steps.

As part of the training, you’ll also receive a digital content pack which includes templates, guides and additional supporting content to use after the course.
