From Programming to Professional Networking
Mike’s career didn’t begin in sales or marketing. He started as a passionate programmer fascinated by technology and video games. His career took an unexpected turn around ten years ago after attending his first networking event. From that moment, Mike became captivated by the power of building genuine relationships. His passion saw him attending over a thousand networking events, transforming from a self-described "super-nerd" into a professional connector, ultimately leading to the creation of Introstars.

Overcoming Developer Challenges Mike openly shares the challenges faced in building Introstars, especially when assembling his development team. Finding talented developers wasn’t the main obstacle. Aligning on core values, communication style, and vision was far more challenging. After nearly one hundred interviews and some trial-and-error hires, Mike finally found the ideal developer partner whose skill perfectly complemented his hands-on leadership style.

Why Cold Outreach is Dying
Mike believes cold outreach methods like cold calling and emailing are losing their effectiveness due to increasing saturation with automated, impersonal sales tactics. Buyers today are inundated with unsolicited approaches, making them resistant to traditional outreach methods. Mike founded Introstars as a solution, leveraging warm referrals and genuine connections to drive high-quality leads and business growth.

Leveraging Networks and Connections
At the heart of Introstars is the idea that genuine relationships are essential for successful business growth. Mike emphasises that leveraging personal networks has significantly accelerated Introstars' success. Instead of impersonal outreach, Introstars enables trusted introductions, helping salespeople, recruiters, and consultants connect with valuable leads through trusted relationships. Mike’s belief in networking has directly influenced the rapid growth and early success of his company.
